Establishing a Correlation between prescription analysis and medication adherence using the General Medication Adherence Scale (GMAS) in the Indian Population
The study examined the correlation between prescription quality and medication adherence in the Indian population. A moderately positive correlation (0.6) was found among 150 patients, highlighting the potential benefits of improving prescription quality on patient adherence and outcomes. The pilot study initially had a small sample size, which was later increased to 150 for better results. Further research is encouraged to explore this correlation.
