The Biomedical Engineering department at Christian Medical College, Vellore, transitioned from manual calibration to full automation, becoming a model center for in-house calibration, accredited by NABL. This transformation reduces costs, enhances patient safety, and streamlines processes. Future plans include achieving full automation of calculations and expanding into lab equipment calibration and proficiency testing for medical devices. This institution is setting new industry standards.
